NAME: Nessarose Thropp
AGE: 17
SPIECES:[/b] human - Munchkinlander
PARENTS Frexspar and Melena Thropp
HISTORY [/b] When Melena became pregnant a second time, she attempted to prevent her child from being green by chewing on milk flowers. This caused her untimely death in childbirth. Nessarose was born with her legs tangled sufficiently crippling her. Growing up, the pretty girl relied on her father and especially her older and strangely green sister to take care of her.
LOOKS Pale skin, brown eyes, brown shoulder length hair...
PERSONAILTY: Prim and proper, but not bubbly as Galinda. Nessa hates her wheelchair, but accepts it as there is nothing she can possibly do with out it. She is a bit shy about her handicap, but doesn't let it hold her back. She loves her sister and appreciates everything Elphaba has done for her, but is quite often embarrassed by her company in public and is uncomfortable when talking about her sister to others.
ESSAY: Nessa lowered her book, laying it pages down in her lap so as not to lose her place. She stretched her arms above her head and allowed a yawn. The sun was beginning to sink behind one of Shiz's many spires, putting the courtyard minutes away from impending shadow. It was probably a good time to head back to the dorm and find Elphaba. Not that Nessa couldn't handle the food line at the dining hall, but it was far less a hassel to simply point at what she wanted and let her sister get it for her.
There was a bit of an ache in her knees from sitting day in and day out, but Nessa was used to it. She wished she could stretch her legs a bit, but she didn't want to look awkward admist the students sprawled around the grounds. Yes, it was time to find her sister and even a few seconds of privacy.
She reached over the side of her chair to where her school bag rested and dug out a bookmark before sliding the book into the bag and placing it in her lap. Then she planted her hands on the large wheels on either side of the chair and began to wheel herself off the lawn and back onto the path leading to the dormitories.
Students offered her smiles and "hello"s, maybe a wave, as she passed. She saw the Munchkin boy Boq sitting under a tree farther up the grassy knoll. "Off to dinner soon, Boq?"
Boq smiled and lifted his book. "Don't know. Got to study," was the simple reply. Nessa nodded and wished him a good evening then. She hoped he would maybe materialize at the dining hall, but even if he did, he would sit with his friends, she with hers and she would only steal glances of him from time to time while her friends giggled.
